All officials and employees are deemed subject to the provisions of chapter 67A of
title 36 of the O.C.G.A. (O.C.G.A. § 36-67A-1 et seq.), and shall make the disclosures
required in such chapter, and shall be subject to the penalties stated in said chapter.
(b)
In addition, any official required to make the disclosures set forth in chapter 67A
of title 36 of the O.C.G.A. (O.C.G.A. § 36-67A-1 et seq.) shall be prohibited from
participating in the zoning matter in which such official or employee has a direct
or indirect interest. A violation of the aforesaid provisions of the Official Code
of Georgia Annotated shall also constitute a violation of this article.
